Willard Hallock

 

Willard Hallock, 93, of Scranton, died Saturday at Allied Hospice. His wife, Esther Hallock, passed away in 2017. Born in Scranton, son of the late Alton and Dorothy Flesch Hallock, he was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and a United States Air Force veteran. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an EMT, Price Bus for several years and also Lackawanna Coordinated Transportation System. He enjoyed watching Penn State football, camping, and NASCAR, as well as watching wrestling with his grandchildren. Surviving are daughters, Amy Cusick, Sally, Lois and Carol; sons, William and Wayne; three grandchildren, Emma and Heather Anderson, and Daniel P. Cusick; sister, Lois; brothers, Raymond, Joseph, Donald and Gerald; three brothers-in-law, Robert Barth, Dale Barth and wife, Cheryl, all of Scranton; and Edward Barth and wife, Debra, Plains; three sisters-in-law, Linda Ancherani, Deborah Wildrick and husband, Harold, all of Scranton; and Mary O’Malley and husband, Roger, Dunmore; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Thursday at noon in the Salvation Army Church, S. Washington Ave. Friends may call starting at 10am. Arrangements by the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home, Inc., 1240 St. Ann St., Scranton.
