Wakiel Buckley, Scranton, died on March 10, 2023. Born on January 8, 1998, he was the son of Annalita Ross and Timothy Buckley. Wakiel passed away unexpectedly due to a battle with addiction and depression. He was full of life, love and laughter. His personality was simply captivating and his smile could light up a room. Wakiel’s emotions were like a roller coaster ride but no matter what his love always shined through. He was loved by many, will never be forgotten and stay in our hearts forever. Wakiel is survived by two beautiful daughters, Amaryana and Mailani Buckley, two children he loved like his own, Angeliz Cintron and Mason Tilley. He was adored like a son to Aunt Caroline and Uncle James Phillips. Siblings Timothy Jr, Stephen, Nashiya, Lordae, and Trayce Buckley, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Tamara Buckley, material grandparents, Mary Beth and Ricky Loyd and James Ross, paternal grandmother, Coennie Simmons. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home, 1401 Capouse Avenue, Scranton with a service at 6:00 pm.
