Thomas Yeager

 

Thomas Yeager, 51, of Scranton, died Tuesday at home. His wife of 25 years is Deanna Markarian Yeager. Born in Scranton, son of Norma Roche Yeager and the late Robert Yeager, he was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and employed by Schiff's Food Service. Tom was an avid fisherman who loved fishing trips to Oswego with is friend Tony Vitaletti, his trip of a lifetime to Alaska with David Siddions and the best family vacations to the Outer Banks. He also enjoyed boating and taking his Indian motorcycle for a ride. Also surviving are his two daughters, Madison; and Paige and her companion, Matthew Williams; four brothers, Robert and wife, Debbie; Michael and his companion, Vicki Chrzan; Paul and his wife, Cheryl; and Mark and his wife, Maureen Yeager; two sisters, Anne Haddix and husband, James; and Debbie Culver; nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Peanut Butter Cups. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dave and Jay; niece, Nicole Haddix; and nephew, Stephen Yeager. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Clare's Church, North Washington Avenue, Scranton. Friends may call Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave.
