Thomas E. Mullen

Thomas E. Mullen died unexpectedly on December 4, 2025. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Thomas E. Mullen and Theresa Langan Mullen. He was a 1976 graduate of Scranton Technical High School and was employed at JED Pool Tools Manufacturing. Tom loved fishing and did a lot of it over the years on many trips with family and friends. He enjoyed the simple pleasure of the Lackawanna River Heritage trails and dropping in a line to fish. Tommy was a kind and gentle soul. He was also a faithful friend to his sisters and brothers. He taught us about living with what each day brings. He taught us lessons of patience and compassion. Although our sense of loss is profound, we carry on with lessons of hope and attempt to embrace the truly joyous moments of life. Tommy will be missed by his brother William Mullen, Ed Mullen, sisters Anne, Theresa Jordan and Marie Juliano; Brother-in-law Tom Juliano and Sister-in Law Karen Lee Mullen nieces and cousins. Thank you Christine Bernotsky for being a steadfast friend and Tim Hughes of McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home for your kindness and support over the years. We are grateful. Private arrangements by the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home, 1401 Capouse Ave., Scranton, PA.
