Thomas Creegan, 67, of Scranton, died unexpectedly Monday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. His loving wife is Sharon Sweeney Creegan.
Born in Scranton, son of Thomas and Janet McAuliffe Creegan, he was a graduate of West Scranton High School and worked as a salesman for Mattress Man. Tom was a true and treasured friend, and was loved by all who knew him. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, and enjoyed skiing, Disney World and hunting.
They say you have one true love, and Tom’s was his wife, Sharon. From the moment they met, he knew she was “the one.” He was the light of her life and their adventures and memories will forever be in her heart.
I love you dearly and until we are together, 1-4-3 (I love you).
Also surviving are his sister, Kathy Creegan and her life partner, Bob Good; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Taylor Avenue.
Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann’s St., Scranton
