Theresa Abbott, 75, of Scranton, went home to the Lord on Monday. She went peacefully and was surrounded by her loving family and husband, James Abbott. Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Anthony and Maud Granville, she was a graduate of West Scranton High School and worked for Price Bus and Caregivers of America.  Theresa was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are three sons, Thomas and Eugene Allen, Scranton; and Joseph Allen, Florida; sister, Donna Tini and husband, Gene, Lake Ariel; two brothers, Paul Granville and wife, Arlene, Clarks Summit; and Ronald Coleman and wife, Marge, Buffalo, N.Y.; and two granddaughters, Teresa and Melissa Allen. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Fino and Eugene O’Malley; daughter-in-law, Lisa Allen; and grandson, Brandon Allen. A funeral service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann’s St., Scranton. Friends may call starting at 4 p.m.
