Tameeka L. Lediard

In Loving Memory of Tameeka L. Lediard Sunrise: 02.10.83 Sunset: 06.29.26 A Life Remembered Tameeka was a quick‑witted, shy, and private woman whose quiet strength and warm spirit touched everyone around her. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Army at Hunter Army Airfield, carrying herself with dedication and resilience. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her two daughters, Monei and N’dirah, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally. While working and attending college, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree, showing her determination and commitment to creating a bright future for her family. Tameeka had a creative soul. She loved playing video games—always impressing others with her skill—and she found joy in doing hair, making wigs, applying makeup, dressing up, and shopping. She had a style all her own and embraced it proudly. One of her most cherished traditions was “fish day,” a special pastime shared with loved ones. Whether discovering a new fish spot or enjoying a home‑cooked meal, those moments of eating fish and talking together were among her happiest and most meaningful times. She Leaves to Cherish Her Memory Her father Chris A. Lediard Her stepmother Danine M. Lediard Her children Monei & N’dirah Her siblings Christopher Lediard Jr., Tony, John, Maine, Leslie, Robert, Martinique, Lonnie, and Joy Her uncle Billy (William Lediard) And a host of family and friends who loved her dearly. Forever Loved, Forever Missed Tameeka will be remembered for her humor, her creativity, her loyalty, and the quiet but powerful love she carried for her family. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Family and friends may call on Sunday, July 26th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home, 1401 Capouse Avenue, Scranton, PA.
