Samuel J. Moss, Scranton, passed away Dec. 26, 2023, at Geisinger Community Medical Center after a massive stroke. Born in Scranton, son of the late Elmer and June Carris Moss. He was the husband and best friend of Lucille Evans Moss for the past 47 years. He was a retired truck driver. He was the father of Stephen Lisi, Kevin Loughney and Kristina Loughney; and the grandfather of Mia and Nico Royce, Ryan and Raven Razina, Davina Loughney and a soon-to-be granddaughter, Andrea Loughney; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marion Rodriguez; a brother, Paul Moss; and sisters, Millicent, Ruth Ann and infant sister Debbie. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
