Samuel A. Rosar, 41, a resident of Scranton, PA passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2025 with the love of his life, longtime fiancé of 17 years, Brenda Olt by his side. Sam was born on September 5, 1983 to Lori (Lorne) Rosar and John DeLauder. His life reflected qualities of generosity and kindness. He had many things he loved; Titanic, cats, fishing, nature, beaches and his many friends and family. His favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas and he loved the snow. He is survived by his grandmother Clara Marsico, Scranton, mother, Lori (Lorne), Scranton, three brothers, Nathan Gilman, Scranton, Larry Rosar, Scranton, Tommy Houey, Scranton, one sister, Genevieve DeLong, longtime fiancé, Brenda Olt, Scranton and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 6pm to 8pm at Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home, 1240 St. Ann's Street, Scranton, PA.
