Rosa Nieves, 49 passed away on Wednesday at Regional Hospital. Born in Jersey City, she was the daughter of Juanita Mendoza and Edwin Nieves. She was a dedicated medical assistant working in the Pediatrics Department at Scranton Primary. She served her community always and was a Strong believer and Follower of God. Her husband is Carlos Jimenez. Also surviving are her daughters, Jerica Rosado, Aaliyah Rosado, Naysha Rosado. A funeral service will be held Monday at 1pm in the Mcgoff-Hughes FH Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave, Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton. Friends may call starting at 11am.
