Roberta S. Collins, 80, of Taylor, passed away at her home on Monday, January 5, 2026. Roberta was born in Manhattan, New York, and was the daughter of the late Robert McKinnell and Josephine Termini. Before her retirement, she was employed by Chamberlain Manufacturing. Roberta was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She enjoyed shopping, watching television, and playing board games, and dearly loved her animals. She especially cherished talking and going out with her lifelong best friend of over 60 years, Jackie Honick. She is survived by her daughter, Maryann Grems, and her husband, Thomas; her grandson, Nicholas Genovese; her granddaughters, Jessica Ragan and Christina Thomas; her nine great-grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Gigi”; and her brother, Dale Collins, of New Jersey. In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her brother, Robert C. McKinnell. Roberta will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Roberta's life will be held Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 from 4pm to 6:00pm in the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home, 1240 St. Ann's Street, Scranton, PA.
