Robert Maushart, 87, passed away peacefully on April 26 at Allied Service Hospice in Scranton. Bob was born in Honesdale, PA. He graduated from St. Paul’s High School in Scranton and Penn State University. He enjoyed a varied career in several locations, ending back at his starting point of St. Paul’s. He was an Air Force veteran. He was his own man and lived his life on his terms. He is survived by his brother James and wife Rita, his special niece Kathleen Monahan and several other nieces and nephews. Other family members include Todd Maushart, Kristin Maushart, Bruce Maushart, Paul Maushart, Patrick Monahan, Cindy Corbett, Joan Scibetta and Carolyn Walsh. He was preceded in death by his parents Gustave and Florence Bayly Maushart, brothers Jack and Jerry Maushart and sister Janet Monahan. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arraignments by the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home, 1401 Capouse Ave, Scranton, PA.
