Robert L. Good, 85, of Scranton, was peacefully called home April 17th. Born in Olyphant on Feb 9, 1940, he was the son of the late Leo E. and Marguerite A. Walsh Good. In his younger years, Robert worked in Kadtka Coal and Ice, before eventually retiring as a proud COLTS bus driver. He was a kind and generous man who would open his home and heart to anyone in need. He was like a father to many, especially to his grandchildren and great-grandson, Jayden Boyd, who was the light of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty and family values that he lived every day. Surviving is his brother, Billy Good; sister, Patricia Williams; daughters, Barbara Ratchford and Dawn Good; grandchildren, Robert Reimiller, Daniel Gruen, Ashley Matthews and Trisha Gries; and many great and great-great grandchildren who will carry his memory forward. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Creegan; and former wife, Nancy Good; brothers, Junior, Gene and Thomas Good; children, Jean Good, and Michael and Edward DePietro; son-in-law, Thomas Ratchford; and grandson, Michael Gruen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10am in Mary Mother of God Church, Scranton. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8pm in the Thomas J Hughes FH Inc, 1240 St. Ann St, Scranton.
