Robert Kendricks Jr., 74, of Scranton, passed away Tuesday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart. Born in Columbia, Miss., son of the late Bob and Brookalee Kendricks, he loved fishing and spending most of his time with family and friends. He leaves to cherish in memory his daughter, Shalimar Sansone and husband, Pasquale, West Haven, Conn.; two grandchildren, Maryann Kendricks and Mateo Sansone; three sisters, Authorine Fairley, Scranton; and Donie Kendricks and Octavia Lewis, both of Columbia, Miss.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Jimmy Lee "Bo" Jackson, George Jack, Albert, Otha Willy and Robert Lee Kendricks; two sisters, Stella Mae Peters and Carolyn Lee Kendricks. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave., Scranton. Friends may call starting at 9 a.m.
