Robert E. Williams, 54, of Scranton, who was raised in the Bulls Head section, died Saturday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. His wife is the former Maureen McAndrew Williams. The couple was married for 26 years.Born in Scranton, son of the late Robert E. and Margaret E. Fife Williams, he was educated in Scranton public schools, and employed as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, NASCAR and watching his son ride dirtbikes.Also surviving are two sons, Bryan Robert and wife, Theresa, Colorado; and Corey and wife, Camile, Scranton; two daughters, Heather and fiancé, Michael Ruggere, Dallas; and Megan Beynon, North Carolina; four sisters, Margaret Johndrow, Kathleen Eggert and Diane Ciullo, all of Scranton; and Deborah Gay, Covington Twp.; five grandchildren, Avahlynn, Kinsley, Gio, Leland and Arianna; nieces, nephews and cousins.The family would like to thank Hospice of the Sacred Heart for the kindness and compassion shown to Robert and his family.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Taylor Avenue. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. Friends may call Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. at the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave., Scranton, and are asked to go directly to church on Friday.Memorial contributions may be made in the name of Robert E.
