Robert J. 'Bobby' Kester, 42, of Scranton, died Friday at Moses Taylor Hospital.Born in Scranton, son of Joseph Robert Kester and Geraldine McNally Smerecky, and stepson of Lori Kester, all of Scranton, he attended Scranton Technical High School and Marywood College. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 645 and was a proud bodybuilder. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.Also surviving are a daughter, Kaleigh, Scranton; a son Keeghan, Nanticoke; three brothers, Joseph Robert Kester Jr. and wife Michelle, Old Forge; Keith Robert Kester and wife Suzanne; and Ryan James Kester and wife Ashley, all of Scranton; three sisters Laurie Kester, Dunmore; Sara Calicchio and husband Anthony, Pittsburgh; and Ammie Feduchak, Scranton; the love of his life, Jessy Novack, Nanticoke; nieces, nephews, and cousins.The funeral service will be Saturday from 4-6pm in the Eagen-Hughes Funeral Home, 2908 Birney Ave., Scranton.
