Ranfis J. Diaz, known as Ralph, 63, died Thursday at home.
Born in the Dominican Republic, son of Pascual and Pura Perez Diaz, he lived in the Scranton area for the last 15 years. Originally from Allentown, Ralph and his family were members of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He had many friends and family who adored him very much. He will be dearly missed, especially by his dog Zeus, who was his best friend and like a child.
Surviving are his son; four sisters; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave., Scranton. Friends may call starting at noon.

I am so very sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. I met him delivering his mail in Green Ridge and he became a very good friend. Always looking out for me to make sure I was safe. God Bless you my friend. I will miss seeing you and Zeus
