Phyllis Jean Wedlock, 84, of Scranton, passed away Saturday surrounded by her family. She was the widow of John Wedlock, who passed away in 1998. Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Herbert and Hilda Miller Lloyd, she enjoyed dancing and was always the life of the party. Surviving are four children, Joseph Wedlock, Scranton; Lisa Charles and husband, Jeffrey, Newton Twp; Carol Marshall, Scranton; and Jeffrey Wedlock, Newton Twp; six grandchildren, Joseph and Ian Wedlock; Jerry, Christopher and Caitlyn Charles and Mallory Coyne; great-grandson, Coner; sister, Frieda Morris, Fl; and niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Walsh. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2pm in the Thomas J Hughes Funeral Home, 1240 St. Ann St, Scranton. Friends may call from noon until 1:45pm.
