Paul A. Sekelsky Jr, 48, of Scranton, died Thursday at home. His loving wife is Lori Karwoski Sekelsky. Born in Scranton, son of Denise Mercado and Paul Sekelsky Sr., he was a graduate of West Scranton High School. Paul enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be fishing on his boat, riding his Harley, or traveling for a vacation. He worked as an electrician and could fix any mechanical issue. Taken too soon, he will be deeply missed. Also surviving are five children, Michael, Samantha, Robert, Gia and Shane; step-daughter, Rebecca Karwoski; several grandchildren; brother, Joseph Sekelsky; sisters, Kim Galazza, Jessica Griffits and Amanda Monk; mother-in-law, Mary Lynn Karwoski; and nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 6pm in the Thomas J Hughes Funeral Home, 1240 St Ann St, Scranton. Friends may call from 4-5:45pm and are asked to abide by social distancing guidelines.
