
Paul Marsico, 44, of Avoca, passed away Saturday at home after a lifelong battle with diabetes.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Lawrence Marsico and Jean Houlihan, and stepdad, Andrew Sabol, he was an avid NASCAR fan and traveled to many races with Mia. You could always find them at the track hunting Chase Elliott down for autographs and pictures. Mia was his princess and the apple of his eye. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving are his daughter, Mia, Olyphant; stepmother, Deborah Marsico; brothers, Eric Sabol and fiancée, Jamie; Larry Marsico Jr.; sister, Kari Marsico; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pennsylvania (Eastern) & Delaware ADA, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton. Friends may call from 5 to 7:45 p.m.
