Paul J. Goodrich, 74, of Scranton, died Saturday at home. His wife of 53 years is Sandy Popis Goodrich. He was the love of her life. Son of the late Paul and Betty Walsh Goodrich, he was a graduate of Jessup High School and Johnson VoTech. A lifelong member of SS Peter & Paul Church, he was employed by Exide and then Fabri-Kal of Mountaintop before retirement. Paul was a loving husband, father and Poppy who enjoyed cruises, traveling and Notre Dame sports. Also surviving are his two daughters, Erin Goodrich, Scranton; and Jill Sakulich and husband, Jason, Avoca; four grandchildren, Sebastian, Gabrielle, Ethan and Christian; sister, Rosanne Farrell and husband, Matt, Archbald; sister-in-law, Pat Popis; brother-in-law, John Popis and wife, Diane; nieces, nephews and many cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Thomas Goodrich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. in SS. Peter & Paul Church.
