Patricia A. Jones of Wapwallopen, passed peacefully in her home on August 19th 2026.
Patricia was a wonderful Wife of over 50 years, Mother, and Grandmother. She was a devoted Registered Nurse for over 20 years at Geisinger, who enjoyed traveling with family in her motorhome. Patricia was the type of person that could brighten any room and befriend everyone.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Wittenbreder; father, Patrick Greco; sister, Dorothy Ann Lary; and brothers, Larry Greco and Brother William "Bo" Greco.
Patricia is survived by her husband, John P. Jones; daughter, Amanda Jones; son, John J. Jones; and 7 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at noon in St. Ann's Basilica, Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. Friends may call from 10-11:30am in the Thomas J Hughes Funeral Home Inc, 1240 St. Ann St., Scranton.
Donations in memory of Patricia should be sent to the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center.
