Pastora Awilda Jimenez Garcia

 

Pastora Awilda Jimenez Garcia, 65, passed away at home on May 7th surrounded by her family after battling cancer. Born in San Sebastian Puerto Rico to Segundo Jimenez and Maria Serrano. She moved to Pennsylvania in 1986. She pastored alongside her husband Ramon Garcia in Scranton, PA for 32 years. She was loved and cherished by family and friends and their church congregation. She is survived by her children Margarita, Awilda, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Kayla, Jose, Iddianette, her mother Maria Serrano, siblings Angel Luis, Jorge, Minerva, Maria, Beatriz, Octavio, Braulio, Sandra, and Betzaida. Family and friends may call on Monday, May 11th at the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home, 1401 Capouse Ave, Scranton PA from 4 PM-6 PM.
