Pamela Sue Strackbein, 53, of Scranton, died Saturday at home. She was the widow of Steve King.
Born in Scranton, daughter of Linda Rogers and the late Donald Strackbein, she was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed nature and vacations to the beach. She enjoyed trying new things that brought her excitement, like skydiving.
Also surviving are six children, Matthew Strackbein; Thomas Strackbein and fiance, Kira uber; Sarah Carter; Jimmie Carter and wife, Destiny; Deserea Hill; and Julia King; seven grandchildren; brothers, Donny and Brien Strackbein; sister, Shannon Loch; and stepfather, James Rogers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11am in St. Ann's Church. Arrangements by Thomas J Hughes Funeral Home, Inc, 1240 St. Ann St, Scranton.
