Nancy I. Williams

Nancy I. Williams, 80, of S. Abington Twp., died Thursday at Moses Taylor Hospital. She was the widow of Keith E. Williams, who passed away on October 31.Born in Scranton, daughter of the late John R. and Isabelle Williams, she was a member of Countryside Community Church, Newton, and a graduate of West Scranton High School. Before retirement, she was employed by Servamation Vending and Dr. Richard Butler, DDS. Nancy enjoyed ceramics, quilting, jewelry making, and craft fairs. She and Keith were avid Penn State fans, holding tickets for over 35 years, and was also a Yankees fan. The two would travel the country in their motor home, enjoying every minute. Nancy cared for her brother Barry after the death of their mother, with her kindness always on display. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, who was proud of her grandchildren.Also surviving are two daughters, Dawn Williams Houck, Phoenix; and Loriann Williams and companion, Keith Williams, Scranton; a son, Randall K. Williams, Lake Ariel; three grandchildren, Daniel K., Travis R. and Bradley M. Williams; three stepgrandchildren, Natalie, Weston and Sawyer Doty; a stepgreat-granddaughter, Janessa Doty and husband, Jeff; and a stepgreat-grandson, Trevor Williams; a brother, John R. Williams, Dunmore; nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Korilynne Williams; and a brother, Barry Williams.A funeral service will be held Saturday at noon from the Davies & Jones Funeral Chapel, 135 S. Main Ave., Scranton, by Rev. Lynn Snyder. Interment, Washburn Street Cemetery. Friends may call starting at 11am.
