Nancy Ferrer, 64, of Los Sures, New York. Passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at her residence in Scranton. She was born September 20, 1959, in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Nancy was predeceased by her father Juan Eddie Rodriguez, 2 brothers, and her son Raymond. She is survived by her mother Luz Ferrer, 6 Siblings, and Daughters: Tanya and Jennifer. Sons: Jesse, Nelson, and, Moses. Along with her 10 Grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.   Growing up Nancy faced many challenges. From being raised in the roughest neighborhood in New York City. To being the sole provider of 6 children. Her strong and authentic moral compass lead her out of adversity to be able to provide a better future for herself and her children. Her ultimate goal was to verbally say "I Love You". But continuously expressed her love for her children and family.     Nancy had a passion for cooking, cleaning, music, and dancing. Some of her other joys included thrifting, red lipstick, and taking long drives into the countryside. She loved to go to church and carried her faith with her wherever she went. She admired Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, and Betty Boop. She was often referred to as Shirley Temple growing up. A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 27 from 3:00 to 6:00 at McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home, 1401 Capouse Avenue, Scranton, PA.
