Michele was a kind, loving, caring person, as is evident in the profession she chose. Placing family and friends ahead of her own needs. She will be remembered for her unselfish and kind deeds. She left this world a better place. I did not see you close your eyes, or hear your last sigh. I only heard that you were gone, too late to say goodbye. You may be gone from my sight, but never from my heart. May heaven’s angels lead you into paradise. Missing you dearest Michele, loving you forever. Your longtime friend of 50+ years, Irene

To Michele and family, I feel/hear a collective nuzzle/purr from many kitties and cats across the country who have been saved by caring people like Michele. She nursed and administered to many newborn feral cats; feeding, medicating, woundcare and then making sure they had a loving home to go to. She truly championed cats.

I first met Michele at CCSM (Congregational Church of San Mateo). Michele, always friendly, outgoing, caring, and generous welcomed newcomers; organized and scheduled weekly ushers and greeters; served on many committees Interfaith, Low-income housing, Outreach; Sanctuary; Gun Safety Awareness. Michele loved walking, hiking, enjoying nature, birds and plants. She loved history; avid reader of presidential and first lady biographies, joined a group that studied local history. M

Michele's most favorite volunteer activities may have been Homework Central where she served as tutor and emotional support for 3-5th graders. And her work at Peninsula SPCA where she cared for and saved many cats and kitties. She would take home wounded cats and abandoned kitties and nurse them back to health and adoption. We remember and love you Michele. You made the world a more caring place. Rest in peace.
