It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Savinelli. Mike died peacefully at home on April 20, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Linda Schick Savinelli. Born and raised in Scranton, son of Ralph and Gail Burke Savinelli, Michael was a graduate of West Scranton High School. He was a lifetime member of the Local 44 Sheet Metal Union and a member of the Eagles Club. Mike enjoyed golfing, spending time with his grandchildren, going to concerts, fishing and going to the beach. Also surviving are three children, Michael Ralph, Nicholas and Maria; two grandsons, Lukas and James; three sisters, Sandra, Kathy and Lisa, and their spouses; nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Lucy’s Church, Scranton.
