Michael Mercado, 63, a resident of Moosic, passed away unexpectedly on 2-5-2023 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Raymond and Eleanor Davis Mercado. Michael is survived by one brother, Charles, Moosic and two sisters, Denise Tracy, Pittston, Roseann Clark, Taylor, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond. A celebration of life will be held Monday, 2-13-2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann’s Street, Scranton.
