
Maryann Walsh, 64, of Scranton, died Monday at Forest Hill Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Joseph Walsh.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Wilford and Ann Wharton, she enjoyed going to concerts and amusement parks, along with walks at Nay Aug Park and working at the flea market with her family. She was previously employed by McDonalds, Cinram and Old Forge Lampshade.
Surviving are her daughter, Melody Barnett; son, Michael Walsh; and brothers, Butchie, Tony and Eddie Wharton.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at noon in the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave., Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
