Maryann Marsico

 

Maryann Marsico, 62, of Scranton, passed away Monday morning surrounded by her loving family at Allied Skilled Nursing. Her husband of 47 years is Angelo P. Marsico. Born in Dickson City, daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Morasky Krukovitz, she attended Scranton Technical High School and worked as a counselor for several years. She adored her family; she was so proud of her grandchildren who affectionately called her Toochie. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and hosting holiday get togethers. She adored the family pets, especially her Rubydoo. She never met a slot machine she didn't like. Also surviving are her daughter, Angelic Perry and husband, Frank; and son, Thomas Marisco; grandchildren, Frankie and Adam Perry, Logan, Gracelyn and Angelo Marsico, all of Scranton; gonus grandchildren, Ashlee, Thomas and Connor, and their mother, Robin; sisters, Margaret Holland, Mayfield; and Ann Malone, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. She was especially close with her niece, Cindy Vislosky. She was preceded in death by sister, Barbara Jones; and mother-in-law, Grace Mancuso. Friends may call Friday 5 to 8 p.m. with service immediately following at the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
