
Mary Theresa Henry, 71, passed away peacefully at Allied Skilled Nursing after a long illness. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Eleanor Winger Henry and the late Paul A. Henry.
A lifelong resident of Scranton, she graduated Scranton Technical School and volunteered for the American Red Cross Blood Bank and Telespond.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sisters, Dr. Ann R. Henry, Flemington, N.J.; and Janet Henry Flynn (Bill), Annapolis, Md.; nephews, William Flynn (Kristy McCann) Philadelphia; Patrick Flynn (Regina), Annapolis, Md.; and niece, Catherine Flynn (Joseph Dellario), Hanover, Pa.; great-nephews, James and Declan Flynn; and great-niece, Aiden Flynn, of Annapolis, Md.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul A. Henry; brother-in-law, Ted Wulko; her uncles, Joseph Henry, John and Harold Winger; and her aunt, Dorothy Winger Kelly.
Funeral and burial arrangements will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. For those wishing to do so, memorial contributions can be made to the Paul A. Henry Memorial Scholarship Fund at Marywood University, 2300 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA 18509; or to a charity of your choice.
