Mark Holland, 56, of Dickson City, passed away on September 4, 2024 at Geisinger CMC after an illness. He was born and raised in Scranton and was preceded in death by his father John B. Holland and his mother Carol Holland. He loved camping, hunting, NASCAR and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. The most important thing to him was his family and his cat Moose. He is survived by his girlfriend, Cherie Matassa and his step children, Gianna and Matthew Matassa, his stepsister, Michelle Balendy Schick and her daughters, Kailey Faramelli and Molly Boone. He was the grandson of Arthur and Estelle Holland and extended family members in South Carolina. Services were private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home.
