I grew up right next door to Marie and her family. Our family’s were close and we always watched out for one another. We always kept in touch and took care of each other. Marie was a wonderful caring person. She worked hard and loved being outdoors. I would always see her outside raking and taking care of the yard. She loved being outside. Even sitting outside and just looking at the view from her porch. We have a great view of the city. She was very close with her family and talked about them all the time. She struggled the past year or more and still had a positive outlook and fought to get well. Our many phone conversations will be greatly missed. We would laugh and talk about the good ol’ days and she always made me laugh. If I would see her outside I would stop and we would talk. She loved the simple things and She had a heart of gold. She was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed by all who had known her. Especially me and my family. I know she is at peace now and no longer suffering. She will be greatly missed. ❤️
