Lois Marie Draper, 96, born Boston, MA, passed away November 17, 2025. Lois earned a bachelor’s degree in music education and master’s degree in education and used her exceptional musical abilities all her life. Married to the late Rev. Robert Draper, they pastored and planted multiple churches before being called as missionaries to Kenya. Lois directed music in the churches, taught elementary school and taught at two Bible institutes in Kenya. She joined choral societies in every location where she lived. Lois relocated to Northeastern PA to be near family and played piano at New Life Baptist Church in Scranton. Lois is survived by her children Jonathan, Christine and David, their spouses and children and great-granddaughters. A memorial service will be held at New Life Baptist Church in Scranton December 20, 2025, at 2 p.m. Arrangements by the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home.
