Kimberly Hayes, 75, of Scranton, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2023 at her home. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late William and Lois Smith Hess. Kim was a very loving and giving person. She was a seamstress and worked in a variety of different factories in her early years. Kim went on to get her CNA license and worked at Holy Family Residence until she retired. Surviving is a sister, Linda Lowe, Scranton, nieces, nephews, cousins and special cousins that considered Kim their big sister, Deborah Montgomery, Franklin, VA, Glenn Smith and Rosemary Lord, Scranton. A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul’s Church, 1510 Penn Avenue, Scranton, PA 18509. Inurnment private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc.

Kim was A very kind person who would do anything for you if she can.She was kind to the children that she knew.Kim and I became very close and I will truly miss her very much.I wish that she was still here so that I will to talk too her.The whole family misses her.
