Kimberly Ann Rohland, 61, of Scranton, passed away unexpectedly at Regional Hospital in Scranton.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Theresa (Gavin) Rohland, and her beloved son, Joseph Fassett.
She is survived by her life partner Norman Fassett Sr. and her children, Shannon (Jason) Seigle-Talarico of Bear Creek Township, Jamie (Dan) Seigle-Stavish of Larksville, and Norman (Stephanie) Fassett of Scranton; her brother, Kenneth (Jenn) Rohland of Taylor; nine cherished grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Kim’s greatest joy in life was being “Nana” to her grandchildren: Caleb, John, Kaitlyn, Jayden, Abigail, Andrew, Daniel, Jameson, and Allison. She treasured every moment spent with them, and they will miss her dearly. Kim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kim’s life on Wednesday, July 1, at Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home, 1240 St. Ann’s Street, Scranton. Calling hours will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Very sorry for the family’s loss.
Kimberly was her Aunt Anne’s cherished niece, and she loved her so dearly. She was such a special part of her life, and she will miss her terribly: their daily talks, their laughs, their tears, and all they shared together.
Kimberly also held a very special place in her cousin Ryan’s heart, as his godmother. She was deeply loved and will be so missed.

Sam and I were neighbors of Jamie and Dan when they lived in Luzerne.
We knew Kim from family birthdays and cookouts. Kim was a kind, funny and sweet lady. We were blessed to have shared these moments with her.
We send our sincerest sympathy to Jamie, Shannon, Norm and their spouses. Also to her beautiful grandchildren who were a part of our lives too.
We pray that God will bring comfort to each of you during this most difficult time. May Kim Rest In Peace And Perpetual Light Shine Upon Her Soul.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Sam Ristagno and Mary Havener; Alan, Lisa and Kiya Rosenbaum

Kim you were a beautiful person inside and out. I don’t have one bad memory of you. Nothing but joyful moments of laughter and love. I’m crushed that you are gone from this world but have some relief knowing you can now rest in peace. Love and miss you so very much.
