Kathleen Creegan, 65, of Scranton, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday. She is survived by her husband, Robert Good.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Thomas Creegan and Janet Pfeiffer. She was a graduate of West Scranton High School and worked at the Scranton Farmers Market. She was vice president of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 25 and a doting grandmother and great-grandmother.
Kathleen had a big heart. She was always willing to help out those in need. She was a kind spirited, fun loving woman, who touched many hearts throughout her life and stood very proud in her Irish heritage.
Her personality allowed her to make plenty of friends over the years who she considered family. Kathleen's greatest joy was creating memories with all of them, who are now heartbroken with her loss.
Also surviving are her stepdaughters, Barbara and Dawn Good; grandchildren, Ashley, Trisha, Danny, Bobby and great-grandchildren; especially Jayden, who was like a son; sister-in law Sherry, and cousin Linda and her husband Gary and their two sons.
She was preceded in death by her brother Tom Jr., stepchildren Jean Marie Good, Ed and Michael DePietro, and grand-son Michael Gruen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10am in Mary Mother of God Parish. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7pm at the Thomas J Hughes FH Inc, 1240 St. Ann's St.
