Joseph Koshinski, 53, of West Pittston, died Thursday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital after an extended illness. His wife is Katie Koshinski.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Joseph and Linda Gehling Koshinski, he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Michigan Wolverines fan and enjoyed reptiles, fishing and traveling.
Also surviving are his sister, Teresa Smith (Charles Jr.); his brother, James Koshinski; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Koshinski; his aunt, Suzanne Boyle; and his uncle, George Gehling.
At his request, there will be no memorial service. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be sent to Medexpress Urgent Care in Wilkes-Barre, 677 Kidder St., Suite D, for the care of the family.
