Always enjoyed Jack’s company. We were teammates for a few years with O'Malley's tavern in softball. He will be missed.

Anthony Palmere Jr.

I knew Jack for a good part of my life and played a lot of softball with him and Bernie Omalley to name a few. Jack was very influential in landing my very first full time position with Scranton Plastics in 1970 which was located in Minooka. Jack was employed as a bookeeper at the time. For some reason Jack thought that I would be a good candidate for taking over his position as he wanted to go back to school. Although I had absolutely no experience or education in the field Jack helped me attain the position and I continued with Scranton Plastic for 10 years and did quite well with them. To this day I'm not sure why Jack picked me to take over his position but will always be thankful that he did. I consider him one of the best friends I ever had.
