John Campagna, West Scranton, passed away June 27, 2024 after a long illness due to cancer. He was retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot and The United States Army and Reserves. Surviving is his wife, Rachel of 61 years, his daughter Michelene, two grandsons and a great grandson. Our deepest gratitude to Regional Hospital, his surgeon, Dr. James Roche, the remarkable staff at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, who helped care for him throughout his journey. Thank you to all the nurses and caregivers who helped his wife care for John throughout his illness. Thank you to Hughes Funeral Home for your guidance and compassion. We will cherish our beloved memories of John and forever keep him in our hearts. May he rest peacefully. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, July 9th at 10 am at St Ann’s Basilica in Scranton.
