
Jeannette Thomas, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 24th, 2024 at Allied Skilled Nursing in Scranton Pa. She was born September 10, 1964 in Killeen, Texas to the late John J. Thomas and late Blanche E. Singley Thomas. She was a graduate of West Scranton High School, class of 1982. She was employed at Keystone Community Resource for most of her life.
Jeannie loved bowling and was a valued player of her bowling league. She was a dedicated Philadelphia Eagles fan. She loved life and all of her family and friends. She saw the good in everything and was always smiling and laughing, nothing could upset her unless she didn’t have her Diet Pepsi. She loved listening to music, going to the movies, and most of all celebrating the holidays with her family. Jeannie will be deeply missed as she left such an impact on everyone who met her.
Surviving are 3 sisters, Johanna Johnson and boyfriend, Jeffery Whitney; Annmarie Marshall, both of Scranton; Patricia Pullum of Texas; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother Johnny Thomas and sister Suellen Civiello.
