Idamae Denson Ott

January 2, 1934 to December 29, 2022

Idamae Denson Ott, died Thursday at Geisinger Community Medical Center. Born January 2, 1934 in South Bound Brook, N.J. to and Elsie Catherine and Joseph Denson, she married on Dec. 24, 1952 to the late Carroll Edward Ott. Family was a big part of her life. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren so very much. She love crocheting and winning awards at the county fairs in Pennsylvania. She loved reading her Bible and teaching Sunday School, which she did for over 40 years. She is lovingly remembered by her children. She was the mother of Anita Liberatore, Scranton, Shirley Casey and husband Brian of Hawley, Maureen Krom, Honesdale, Carroll E. Ott Jr. and wife Elaine of Ponce de Leon, Fla., Jane and her husband John Jake Masters of Tafton; grandchildren, Tracy Liberatore, Ryan Liberatore, Brian M. Casey Jr., Lauren Vazquez, Robert Renner Jr., Sireena Edwards, Jack Lee Ott, Michelle San Agustin, her children, Ruyano, Tristan and Talon San Agustin and Colton Rossi. She leaves great-grandchildren, Amelia Liberatore, Tristan Liberatore, Matthew Liberatore-Stull, Ashlyn Casey, Elliana Kolodzieski, Julia Renner, Andrew Edwards, Matthew Edwards and Jackie Lee Ott Jr. She was preceded in death by half-brothers, Oscar Blowars and Clinton Blowars; sister, Lillian Marie Denson; and brother, Willard Denson; and a grandchild, Wilma Lynn Ott. A funeral service will be held Saturday at noon in the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave., Scranton. Friends may call starting at 10 a.m.
