Genevieve Gail Succolosky

 

Genevieve Gall Succolosky, 100, who resided in Old Forge and Taylor, passed away at Marywood Heights on Monday. She was the widow of Henry L. Succolosky, who died in 1995. Born Genevieve Gall, in Old Forge, daughter of John Kanty Gall and Regina Klamaris, where she grew up with her nine brothers and sisters. She was a graduate of Old Forge High School and a member of St. Ann's Basilica Church. She was a devout Catholic and dedicated member at St. Ann's. She served as a Eucharistic minister and member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She raised her four sons with love and dedication, and was always proud of her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Thomas and Judy, Florida; Paul and wife, Lidia, California; and Robert and wife, Cathy, Virginia; daughter-in-law, Denise, Florida; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Ted Gall; sister, Theresa O'Mara, in upstate New York; and 46 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, William; sisters, Elizabeth, Juliana and Matilda; and brothers Joseph, Thomas, Andrew and Henry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Ann's Basilica. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton. Friends and family may call from 10 to 10:45 a.m. in the Thomas J.
