Frank J. Moran, 87, passed away January 1st, 2026 at Allied Service Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Patricia Kersavage Moran. Born in Scranton, son of the late Francis and Margaret Schieber Moran. He was an Air Force Veteran earning Air Force longevity service award, a good conduct medal and bronze clasp with two loops. Throughout the years, Frank took pride in honest work and providing for his family. He spent much of his life employed in various factory and industrial positions. Frank enjoyed sports, trips to the casinos, puzzles, traveling with his beloved wife, and, above all, spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by wife Patricia, son Frank and daughter-in-law Kim Moran, son Brian and daughter-in-law Sara Moran, daughter Lisa and son-in-law John Krucar, grandchildren Caitlyn, Frankie, Emma, Luka, Marco, Oskar, and Lana and great granddaughter Eva. He was preceded in death by his siblings Sister Marella Moran, IHM, Claire Vesey, Mary Moran and Robert Moran. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 12pm to 2pm with a service at 2pm in the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home, 1401 Capouse Avenue, Scranton, Pa.
