
Francis P. Tyrrell, 65, a lifelong resident of Scranton, passed away on Friday. Born in Scranton, son of the late John C. and Marion Ackroyd Tyrrell Sr., he was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and enjoyed traveling to local restaurants for Friday pizza night. He was employed by the Scranton Public Library and formerly by Swift and Swift.
Surviving are his sister, Sharon Caradamone and husband, Eugene, Jermyn; three brothers, Joseph and wife, Karen, Leesburg, VA; William and wife, Angela, Rockville, MD; and Michael and wife, Diane, Great Falls, VA; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Tyrrell; sister, Joanne Stambone; and brothers, John Tyrrell Jr and James Tyrrell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30am in St. Paul's Church, Penn Ave, Scranton. Friends may call in the Church starting at 9:30am. Arrangements by McGoff-Hughes FH Inc, 1401 Capouse Ave, Scranton.
