Eugene M. Kaszuba, 72, of Taylor, died June 30 at Allied Hospice in Wilkes Barre. His wife of 33 years June Olson Kaszuba proceeded him in death in January of this year. Born in Scranton, son of the late Eugene “Nick” and Sophie Kaszuba. Gene was a graduate of West Scranton High School, class of 69. Gene enjoyed going to morning coffee clash at McDonalds and seeing old friends from St. Peter’s and Paul. Gene could be seen tinkering on his porch in the summertime. Surviving are his brother-in-law, Timothy and his wife, Lucy Olson, brother-in-law, Donald Olson, sister-in-law, Sharon Olson, sister, Evelyn and husband Joseph Connolly, as well as several nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 am in St. Ann’s Basilica. Interment St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Taylor. Friends may call from 9:45 to 10:45 at Thomas J.
