Ellio Robert Domenick

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ellio Robert Domenick — beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Born on October 20, 1942, and departed this life on October 28, 2025, Ellio leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and unforgettable presence. Ellio was the cherished husband of Josette for nearly 60 years, devoted father to Ellio (Tanya) and proud grandfather to Gabriela, Sienna, Ellio and Viviana. He was a treasured brother to Addie, Ann Marie, and Billy, a loving uncle to Jennifer, and a loyal cousin and friend to many — both here and those who have gone before us. A proud athlete and veteran, Ellio served his country with honor. His life took a romantic turn when he met a beauty in Paris, France, and together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and purpose. He was a man of many talents — a devoted father, a visionary entrepreneur, and a chef whose culinary creations were matched only by the stories he told with vivid detail and heart. To those who knew him, Ellio was larger than life. His strength anchored our family, his love shaped our values, and his hard-earned wisdom taught us resilience. His presence filled every room, and his guidance will echo through generations. Though we mourn his passing, we celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and the countless lives he touched. His spirit lives on in all of us, and we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace — watching over us until we meet again. A mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, November 4th at 11:00am in St. Ann's Basilica, 1233 St. Ann's Street, Scranton, PA. Arrangements by the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home, 1240 St. Ann's Street, Scranton, PA.
