
Eileen Barnauskas, 74, passed away Saturday at Allied Skilled Nursing Facility after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was the daughter of Julius and Helen Zarzeski Barnauskas of Scranton and was a graduate of Dickson City High School. Eileen worked at Billig Shoe Factory and other places before becoming disabled. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, and loved all kinds of animals. She enjoyed time spent with friends at Allied and was loved by all.
Surviving are brothers, Michael and James, Dickson City; Richard and wife, Donna, Hatfield; sister, Marie, Dickson City; sister-in-law, Carol Barnauskas; goddaughter, Brianne Ezman and family; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Julius A. Barnauskas Jr; and sister, Karen Fuller; and her companion, Chris Ezman.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and aides at Allied for the care and compassion they showed Eileen over the years she spent at Allied.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
