Edward P. Petroski Sr., 77, a resident of Scranton Pa. passed away peacefully at home on Thursday April 3, 2025. Born in Scranton on March 11, 1948 he was the son of the late Joseph and Leona Ulkoski Petroski. He was educated in the Scranton School District. Eddie married the love of his life Barbara Orloski in 1967. They celebrated 58 years of marriage in February of this year. At the time of his death he was retired as a Sergeant of Security at Marywood University for 25 years. Prior to that he was employed as a truck driver for 20 years. Eddie enjoyed gardening, working in his workshop, playing guitar or any musical instrument he could get his hands on, visiting with family, and playing with his dog Nellie. A loving devoted father he is survived by his son Edward P. Petroski Jr. and his three daughters Dawn Marie Petroski, Sheila McDonough and Beverly Koch and husband Steve Koch. He has seven grandchildren Edward Petroski 3rd and Cory Petroski, George and Timothy Walsh, Christopher Svetovich, and Steven Koch Jr. and Brittney Koch and Fiance Hunter Orr. He has three great grandchildren Logan, Damian, and Aubriella Orr. He survived by brother Joseph Petroski and a sister Carol Cobb. He was preceded in death by a brother Stanley Petroski, and a sister Eleanor Manning. He had several nieces and nephews.
